How We Support Founders

You bring the vision. We turn it into a route that presents your best case to the IND, the step-by-step plan the residence permit application asks for, and a landing that is already assembled.

01 Two people comparing route options at a meeting table

Before you move

The route

Moving abroad is stressful enough. We match the route to your idea and your timeline, so your time and energy go into the move, not into guessing.

  • Startup Visa
  • Self-employed
  • A phased plan, if you are not ready yet

You leave with one clear path, and the rest off your mind.

02 A neat application dossier and fountain pen on a walnut desk

The application

The step-by-step plan

The residence permit application asks for a step-by-step plan, and for the signed agreement with your facilitator.

  • Your role in the start-up
  • The first year, from idea to business
  • Why the product or service is innovative

The points the IND lists for that plan.

03 House keys and a plant on a windowsill overlooking brick apartments

After you land

The landing

You should not assemble this from search results.

  • Lawyer
  • Tax advisor
  • Bank and housing

Facilitator, legal, tax, banking, landing: one network.

What founders say

Reviews from founders we have worked with in the Netherlands

Talk to Michael or Angelina

Working with Angelina and Michael has been the most unique and impactful experience of my entire time living in The Netherlands. As an entrepreneur and self-employed professional, I faced challenges that were truly unimaginable. Without their expertise, collaboration, and genuine care and support by my side, I would have certainly fallen and failed.

I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.

Peyman Entrepreneur, The Netherlands - 2026

I have known Angelina for 4 years and during that time she has supported me with several important matters, including developing my business plan, resolving an insurance issue, reviewing contracts, and explaining Dutch laws and regulations.

Her advice has always been professional, practical, and easy to understand. She has a broad knowledge of starting and running a business in the Netherlands, including insurance, taxes, contracts, and administrative requirements. Her guidance helped me make better-informed decisions, avoid unnecessary risks, and feel much more confident as an entrepreneur.

Angelina is reliable, patient, and genuinely committed to helping her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs trustworthy and professional business advice in the Netherlands.

Mehdi Founder of ARIO

Your Path in The Netherlands

From your first application to a self-employed founder, in four stages

Stage 1

Pre-arrival

Eligibility, strategy, your business plan, and the IND application and entry visa (MVV), all prepared before you move.

Stage 2

Arrival

You land in The Netherlands: MVV pickup, BSN, KVK registration, banking, and your Dutch setup.

Stage 3

Program

Your startup year, with monthly sessions and hands-on support to build traction in the business.

Stage 4

Self-employment

From month nine we prepare the self-employed application, and we submit it if you meet the requirements and the program evaluation is positive.

Clear, Transparent Pricing

A route assessment, a reviewed self-employed application, or full startup-visa facilitation.

€199

Strategy Session

Route assessment and a next-step recommendation:

  • Which route fits: startup visa or self-employed
  • When a facilitator is required, and when it is not
  • What to prepare next

Credited once, within 14 days, toward the next programme that matches that route. Not credited twice.

€2,495one-time

Guided Self-Employment Application

Build your self-employment application yourself, with an expert review before you submit:

  • Route-specific evidence checklist
  • Review of your business plan and supporting documents
  • One written gap report
  • One revision review
  • A submission walkthrough

You write and submit. We identify weak evidence and inconsistencies. This is not dossier drafting, IND correspondence, or ongoing support, and it does not include a facilitator. A startup visa requires one. This package is not a way to file a startup visa without one.

Not a substitute for Full Facilitation. If you take Full Facilitation, the application preparation is already included.

€10,000one-time

Startup Visa Facilitation, 12 months

Includes the application preparation, then facilitation and the year-long programme:

  • We prepare the startup-visa application for you
  • Facilitator coordination and IND application package
  • Application tracking and follow-up
  • Landing support: BSN, KVK, banking
  • 12 months of ongoing support
  • Self-employed residence application submitted after the startup year, if requirements are met and the program evaluation is positive

We act as your proposed Startup Visa facilitator, subject to assessment by the IND and RVO. Payment plans available.

Founding team

Custom

The whole team, one move.

One price for your group, set from who is coming and the route each founder needs. One plan, instead of a separate process for every person.

  • A residence route chosen for each founder
  • One shared story for the company and the move
  • Arrival support for everyone who is relocating

You keep 100% of the company.

The ordinary self-employed permit has no facilitator. The IND looks for a substantial Dutch economic interest: your experience, your business plan, and added value, plus sufficient means. The startup permit is a different one-year scheme and does require a facilitator. Work on one application is not a credit toward the other. Treaty routes, including DAFT, are assessed on their own rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to remove any doubts about your Startup Visa journey

What if I'm not eligible for the Startup Visa?

We'll identify this in your Strategy Session and provide alternative pathways.

How is this different from hiring a lawyer?

Full Facilitation is the startup-visa programme, where a facilitator is required. Guided Self-Employment Application is a review for a self-employed application you write and submit yourself. Flat fees, no equity, and the IND still decides. We are not a law firm.

What if my application gets rejected?

Final approval always rests with the IND, so no one can honestly guarantee the outcome. What we commit to is thorough, honest preparation, and if the IND requests additional information, we help you respond. We are also upfront from the first session about how strong your case realistically is.

Do you take equity in my startup?

Never. Unlike accelerators or equity-based programs, we believe your equity should stay with you. Our flat-fee model means no dilution, no valuation disputes, and no ongoing complications.

How quickly can I get started?

You can book your Strategy Session today and typically get started within 48 hours. The IND aims to decide on a Startup Visa application within 90 days of submission; allowing for preparation and any requests for additional information, the end-to-end process typically takes around 3–6 months.

Check Your Eligibility in 60 Seconds

Four questions. Instant clarity on whether the Dutch Startup Visa is the right route.

Which country are you a citizen of?

The Dutch Startup Visa is for founders who need a Dutch residence permit. If you hold more than one nationality, choose the passport you would use to enter the Netherlands.

Do you have an innovative business idea?

Your startup should offer something new to the Dutch market or use innovative technology/methods.

Do you have sufficient funds?

You'll need approximately €25,000-€50,000 to cover living expenses and initial business costs.

Are you the main founder/owner?

You should own a significant portion of the business and be actively involved in its management.

You likely do not need a Dutch Startup Visa

Citizens of the EU, EEA and Switzerland can as a rule live and work in the Netherlands without this permit. If you still want help setting up a company, book a Strategy Session.
